Difference between a planner and a coordinator

Same thing, right? Not really. While sometimes used interchangeably, the general definition in the industry is that a planner plans the entire wedding, creates a budget, finds and books suppliers and creates the mood boards and concepts. This is months and weeks of planning. 

A Coordinator is there for the day of the wedding only. Some of the things we do on the day include cueing your entertainment, seating guests at the ceremony, walking your wedding guests to their reception transport, making sure the cake flowers are on the cake. You will usually spot us with a tool kit filled with tissues and safety pins! 

Given the average wedding has seven different suppliers to coordinate on the day, we give you peace of mind that it all runs smoothly. Most planners offer a coordinator service option as part of their planning packages.
