“Vintage is a soft, eclectic style that embodies our nostalgia for days gone by.” – Christina Strutt (Author of Cabbages and Roses: Vintage Chic.)

The romantic notion of combining delicate lace and printed fabrics, everyday household items like white enamel pitchers and coloured glass bottles, pretty china plates and dishes and beautiful cottage-garden blooms to create a personalised style has made the old-fashioned fashionable.  And when it comes to styling a wedding, this romanticism translates beautifully across to the celebration of marriage – a timeless tradition.

At First Class Functions, we have fully embraced the quintessential essence of Vintage Styling.  Our team have been busy scouring antique shops and markets, finding and restoring one-off furniture pieces that exude charm and history.  To complement these, our Stylists have been applying traditional decorating methods such as decoupage and whitewash to smaller décor items such as table numbers and frames; whilst our textile department have hand stitched some beautiful quilted cushions and table runners.  The overall effect is a delightful and unique collection which will be sure to make your event stand out from the crowd.

A wedding finished with the dreamy décor of yester-year is certain to impress your guests and create an atmosphere of warmth and comfort.  Please contact your First Class Functions coordinator to discuss how Vintage Chic can work for you.
